IMF History
Industrial Machine & Fabrication, Inc. is a general machine and fabrication facility (job shop). Our commitment to quality and safety has made us one of the largest machine shops in the Mid-South. James H. Bennett Sr. founded IMF in January 1981. Operations began at 1277 Decatur Street with five (5) employees in a 4800 square foot facility. In July 1984 operations moved to our present location in the Airport Industrial Park, covering 5.25 acres with a 16,000 square foot building. In December 1989, we completed a 12,600 square foot expansion with overhead cranes bringing our facility to 28,600 square feet and an average of twenty-six (26) employees.
